Notable among these is the securing of $14 million in EPA Clean School Bus Grants, including the first to be deployed on Long Island.
His strategic approach to funding has also enabled the development of critical healthcare infrastructure, such as $8.1 million urgent care center in Brookhaven and a mobile healthcare outreach vehicle, enhancing accessibility to essential medical services for underserved communities.
In 2024, as the President and CEO, Grant Gurus secured millions of dollars in funding to support free after-school programs for children and their families, millions of dollars in incentives for the construction of EV charging hubs, and numerous grants supporting community development programs in the Arts, social services, and other community-based organizations.
As both a champion of non-profit organizations and a supporter of their work, Marcos has served on the Board of Directors of a number community-based non-profit organizations.
